Born and raised on a berry farm in Whatcom County, Jana's gregarious personality and high energy have made her a fixture in this 60,000 strong county. She went to Skagit Valley College in Mt. Vernon, WA on a volleyball scholarship and is proficient in many sports.  (Don’t mess with this girl, she will win!)  She also has a great singing voice and loves performing. 

After graduation from college, she joined AT&T Wireless as a Sales Rep and made MORE friends in Whatcom County!  She worked there for eight years, providing stellar service and advancing in responsibility during her tenure.  While she was there, one of her customers was Wood Stone.  She made a huge impression on us; when she first became our rep, our service from AT&T increased dramatically.  When we were casting about for possible candidates for our sales team, her name surfaced immediately.  She is a natural sales person and has those “Wood Stone” qualities that we love so much; big smile a ready laugh, helpful nature, can-do attitude.  It was lucky for us that AT&T was restructuring and her future and position there was in question.  We were fortunate that we had mutual admiration going on, and with some gentle persuasion we won her over. 

She started with us on April Fools Day in 2002.  Her endless energy and her seeming inability to say no have made her invaluable to our sales team and our customers; reps, dealers and restaurateurs.  She will take on any task with gusto and complete it with an unexpected flourish.  Not only does she provide customer service, she is also instrumental as production coordinator.  (She helped build her own home oven.) 

She has a Bistro 3030 at home and loves to entertain her large extended family.  Her husband and two boys enjoy the pizza, fish, hors d’oeuvres etc., and have been known to make pancakes on the floor of the oven!  She is fearless and will try anything once.  What’s the worst that could happen??
