Wolfgang Puck
Wolfgang had used a
variety of stone
hearth ovens when he crossed paths
with Wood Stone. The ovens
came from a number of
manufacturers, both domestic and imported. After
he tested
out a Wood Stone oven, it
became the oven of choice for
all of Wolfgang’s restaurants (over 70
ovens to date) because of how
they cooked, looked, lasted, and also because of their
efficiency. |

California Pizza Kitchen (CPK)
With over 200 ovens installed worldwide
California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) is Wood Stone’s largest
customer, but that was not always the case. Prior to
trying their first Wood Stone oven CPK used many
different manufacturers ovens. The story of how we
eventually came to be CPK’s exclusive supplier of
stone-hearth ovens explains much about the quality of
Wood Stone equipment and our dedication to meeting our
customers’ needs. |

Sainsbury's Market, UK
A Somerset pizza
dough roller working alongside a Wood Stone gas-fired,
stone-hearth oven have proved to be the perfect pair in
producing over 3,000 pizzas per week in the first of
Sainsbury’s new style ‘markets’ in Pimlico, London. |

Malouf claims he gets a lot of use out of
his Wood Stone oven. "I wasn't looking to use the oven
as just for a single purpose, like for a pizza oven," says
Malouf. "After spending a bit of time in the
Mediterranean and South America, where wood-burning ovens
are used for everything from bread baking to roasting meats
and fish, that's what I wanted to work into the cuisine here
at Beacon." |
