Multiple Oven Openings
Double Door Options: Mt. Baker (6') & Mt. Rainier (7')
Looking for an oven with multiple openings? Two doors perhaps? Or one door with a second viewing window?
Wood Stone has many options. Please note that having two openings does decrease your cooking surface since the additional opening removes some dome mass and can also allow ambient air to affect floor temperatures. While we offer a double door option for many of our oven models, choosing the correct oven size should take into consideration this change in oven production capacity. For this reason, we also suggest our RFG-IR configuration for these double door ovens as a way to maximize the production of these ovens.
Here are options for the Mt. Baker 6' Oven and Mt. Rainier 7' Oven. They are shown with optional mantles. The Blue Mantle represents the "Control Door" where the oven controls are located and the primary exhaust is connected.
The Red Mantle represents the 'secondary opening' which could either be a vented functioning doorway with mantle or facade extension, OR the 'secondary opening' could be a non-vented non-operational viewing window that includes a hinged viewing window (hinged for easy cleaning) mounted inside a flat or curved facade extension.
Please note that all doorways/openings on these ovens are 30' wide.
We also show the possible burner configurations for the gas unit. Where there are two radiant burners indicated it is an "either or" choice of position A or position B. Of course a wood oven can have multiple openings as well, as long as they are vented openings.
