Instructions

Place a large, heavy sauté pan in a 550 degree oven until it is very hot.

Place the chili oil and the clams in the pan and toss.

Put the pan back in the hottest part of the oven for 2 or 3 minutes.

Add the tomatoes and onions, toss again and return the pan to the hottest part of the oven for another 2 minutes.

Squeeze both lemons over the works and transfer to a serving bowl.

Serve with hearty rustic bread so that the juices don’t go to waste.
