Qualifications:

Duties would include:

• Closing of financial records and reporting/review thereof

• Periodic balance sheet reconciliations
• Cost accounting and variance analysis
• Monitor and maintain the integrity of accounting data
• Ensure effectiveness of internal controls
• Financial, informational and strategic support for all areas of the company
• Assist with external financial audit and variance tax audits

Wood Stone is looking for a qualified individual to work on product development in our engineering department. BSEE Degree preferred but equivalent degrees or experience will be considered.

Qualifications:

• Engineering level competence in mathematics and the sciences
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design (schematic capture, layout and parts selection)
• Proficiency with basic lab equipment and experience in troubleshooting
• Basic lab tech skills (soldering, SMT R&R, crimping pins, etc.).
• Embedded control programming in assembly and C

Experience in the following areas is a plus:

• Additional analysis tools (Spice, Mathcad, SciLab, etc.)
• Single-, bi- and three-phase power applications
• Microchip PIC IDE and controllers
• Practical, self-directed, hands-on experience with real systems (e.g. cars, robots, farm equipment, etc. )
• Data acquisition systems or Lab View design and programming
• UL and NFPA (NEC) regulations
• Foodservice equipment
• RFI/EMI and related regulations

Wood Stone Corporation is seeking a full time employee to create technical documents, installation manuals, and other instructional collateral. We seek someone who will play an important role supporting our sales, quality control and service departments by helping to provide them, and external vendors, with user guides and training materials. Ideal candidates include those with a degree in a writing discipline. Applicants should have an enthusiasm for technology, an ability to communicate with staff, a positive attitude, and a desire to assist these departments in accomplishing their projects (as described below), is a must. This position works directly with our Compliance Engineer (in Sales/Service) and the Marketing department.

Duties:

• Provide writing support for technical documentation
• Revise documents
• Access, input and retrieve information from a computer to produce typed copy, free of errors, without assistance
• Establish a working relationship with internal staff and third party affiliates to research and meet documentation requirements
• Attend weekly meetings when applicable
• Provide a progress report on a weekly basis
• Perform other essential functions as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be currently (or have been previously) enrolled with an accredited college or university, to a program in English, technical journalism, engineering/technology, or related field
• Must have an ability and desire to understand technical concepts and convey them in writing
• Experience with, or coursework in, technical writing is a plus

Required Skills:

• A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 5 (specifically InDesign 5, Illustrator 5 and Photoshop 5)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
