Big Daddy’s pizza is scheduled to open this fall in Sevierville, TN. Dan Powers and Matt Rowe recently spent three days at the Wood Stone factory to learn more about their new wood-fired oven. Successful operators for over 20 years in Tennessee, they recognized the opportunity for great pizza in their region of the Smokey Mountains. New to pizza, they connected with Wood Stone to learn about great pizza, equipment and for the support to get their new concept off the ground.

Along with learning about their new oven they worked with a variety of dough recipes to determine what they liked best, from there it was producing the dough for three days, building and baking pizza for the staff at Wood Stone to get some feedback.
